OOTD

Topshop Camel Coat | The Kooples Jeans | Primark T-shirt | River Island Ankle Boots | Missguided Sunglasses | Zara Bag

I am forever buying new clothes but I have a terrible habit of wearing the same outfit day in, day out (I'm sure many of you can relate!!) My daily uniform usually consists of a black t-shirt and jeans - it's just too easy to fall back on when nothing else will do. However, this otherwise boring combo is the perfect base layer for a statement coat and accessories to match. At first glance, the 'neck scarf' was not a trend I thought I would be trying however, after one attempt at wearing it I was hooked and I'm now a huge fan. I love how it adds a sophisticated edge to any simple outfit.

New Season Neutrals

As shown in my previous post, neutral tones are perfect for winter layering. And what's more, they don't have to come in the form of chunky knits. I've put together a few of my favourite new season items and whether it's nude, grey, white or camel, they are all perfect for channeling those neutral vibes.

The Kooples | Bicester Village

Asos Faux Fur Coat | Zara Top | H&M Leather Trousers | Topshop Ankle Boots | Whistles Bag

The Kooples Jeans | The Kooples Skirt Suit | River Island Boots

Firstly, if you get chance to go to Bicester Village (designer shopping outlet) before Christmas then make sure you make the most of it! Not only are you able to buy high end designer labels at half the price, (admittedly it may be last season's stock but it's still just as good) there are great added Christmas discounts available in most of the stores. My boyfriend and I ended up going two Sunday's in a row (due to his incapability to buy the correct size in a coat he picked up) but fortunately the second trip wasn't wasted with a few extra bargains coming home with us.

The reason for this post is to show you a pair of jeans my boyfriend treated me to from The Kooples, a brand I have always loved for it's gorgeous tailoring - such as this beautiful studded skirt suit, something I definitely regretted not buying - and it's chic unisex feel. However, due to it's expensive price tag, it's not somewhere I can afford to shop regularly. Being able to shop brands such as The Kooples at places like Bicester Village enables you to pick up dream pieces at a great price!

After recently buying a pair of lace up pointed ankle boots from River Island, I wanted some biker style jeans to team them with. I found the perfect pair with an extra 20% off the already discounted price! Definitely a staple for my winter wardrobe.

Autumn Wishlist

The cooler air and darker nights are setting in, yep it's beginning to look (and feel) a lot like autumn. New season trends are filling the high street and the temptation for a new autumn wardrobe is hard to resist. But, currently being unemployed (thankfully this is soon to end as I've managed to get myself a part time job at River Island) means that my autumn wardrobe will remain in the form of a wishlist for a little while longer yet.

Here are a FEW of my favourite pieces for this season (the real list is never ending)...

Graduation

Dress - Zara, Heels - River Island, Bag - Valentino, Necklace - Whistles, Bracelet - Topshop

I was over the moon to graduate from Nottingham Trent with a first class degree in Broadcast Journalism this year. After three years of ups and down I was more relieved than anything to have made it to the other side with the results I could have only hoped for.

I decided on this dress only the night before as I found it really difficult to find a dress the right length and style (grad gowns are definitely not easy to wear). I love the the layers as they add detail to an otherwise very simple dress. At only £25.99 I couldn't believe how cheap it was and love the fact it comes in different colours. I teamed it with my Valentino bag (a treat from my recent visit to Monte Carlo) and these gorgeous lace up heels from River Island.

Autumn Layers

Pink Oversized Coat - Topshop
Knitted Jumper - Topshop
White Shirt - Asos
Faux Leather Shorts - Asos
Oversized Clutch - Zara
Mules - Zara
Fedora - Primark

It may not be Autumn just yet but after returning from a short break to Ibiza on Sunday, it felt pretty cold. Still not wanting to give in completely I thought I would layer up on my top half whilst still making the most of my tan. The coat is my sister's from last winter however isn't too heavy so is great for this time of year. I recently bought these faux leather shorts and white sleeveless shirt from Asos that work great together and lend themselves perfectly to layering!

Lace Two Ways

After helping my mom temporarily arrange her wardrobe (as it is yet to be built) I found myself sneakily hiding items that I never realised she had. One of my finds was this white lace blouse from Topshop, something I was in desperate need of!! Being the indecisive person I am, I couldn't quite decide how to wear it so instead of two separate posts, I thought I would do something a little different and compare the two looks in one!

Look One (above)
Lace Top - Topshop
Leather Shorts - Topshop
Leather Jacket - Toshop
Fedora Hat - Primark
Bag - Mango
Shoes - Zara

Look Two (below)
Lace Top - Topshop
