When living and working in a city centre the temptation is far too great to avoid popping to the shops at every opportunity. And when you are working, the demand (and need) for new clothes is somewhat doubled - that's what I've been telling myself anyway. I bought this sheer pleated midi dress last week in the Zara sale - it wasn't much of a bargain but I wasn't too fussed. The pleats are enough detail that nothing else is needed, which is why I liked it so much. I go through fazes with jewellery and at the minute i'm obsessed with arm cuffs. I bought two from a market type stall at the Clothes Show for £5 and they are the best pieces of costume jewellery I have ever bought - they are understated yet chic. This grey long-line waistcoat was my staple piece during winter months, so I love the fact I am able to still wear it!
